there are no transitional species because they never existed. notice every time they try to say "here it is!" oops. another dirty ape.
there was a big bang and God spoke it into existence.

no no your quite mistaken actually we never did evolve from apes, maybe misinformed
ok so what happened at some point in time there was a common anscestor like say on a really small scale, your grandad is a common ancestor to you and you mother right (on you mothers side) and you mother you both share his genes but are not the same person as him or as your mother are you? evolution works much the same way, at some point there was some kind of monkey it must have been a lot of them, they spread the world over and the world is a very vried place, some of these monkeys went to the forest, their are species adapted to there surroundings as a result these are their ancestors, ours had no such obsitcals and devoloped one heck of a brain thats why we are here.
think about it, lets say there is a forest floor, and a lot of worms on it, are the brightly coloured ones going to get picked off first, or the camoflauge ones, thats natural selection
your second question is a fair point where did they come from our common ancestor, well from other lesser species, the idea of evolution is that it advances life. where did the first life come from, who knows could have been god or it could be one of the metiorites that do harbor bactiria in space come to earth or maybe it generated itself here, we don't know that yet
question 3) why do we still have apes? well i think i answered that already, the apes and ourselfs all came from the same place
question 4) ah the big bang, its between that and the steady state theory, if anything the big bang theory is the one as a christian you should be behind because it is closer to the bible than the steady state theory i shall explain both (i hold a degree in physics so i should hopefully be able to explain this well)
basically with the big bang its thought that two objects collided creating a huge explosion of sorts, what well we don't know as yet but maybe we will, to lumps of matter, and E=MC2 so huge amounts of energy would have been released now we know that an object will only stop once it is overcome by opposing forces, maybe there are no opposing forces to this explosion so our universe will always expand
now how do we know the universe is ever expanding, red shift, basically, when we look at a star from another galaxy and we split the light, that light shifts towards the red, ie (the colours of the rainbow you know splitting light) there is a greater proportion of red than there should be, why? because that star is moving away from us, the doppler effect, look that up, and we looked at many distant stars the same thing always happens the universe explodeds much to the credit of the big bang plus, it doesn't contravine the 1st law of thermodynamics (matter can neither be created or destroyed)
now then lets look at the steady state theory, it says the universe has always existed and always will, now forgive me but that seems to contradict the bible not the big bang

> If we evolved from apes, then why don't we see the stages around us like it says in science books.
They're extinct. We're a better competitor, and occupied the same niches, as many of our hominid cousins. We pushed them into marginal lands where they starved, and/or we killed them.
> Where did the apes come from?
Apes are descended from earlier primates.
> Why do we still have apes?
The niches and environments the survivors occupied were sufficiently different from what our ancestors needed/wanted that some apes were able to survive.
> if there was a big bang, which there wasn't, how did it happen...
That's very speculative, sorry I can't help you with that. That's one for cosmology, not biology.
> God is the way
I haven't seen Him pointing the direction in the past 1,970 years. Are you certain?
> evolution is false and STUPID
No it isn't. Remember, Noah took "kinds" on his ark. After the flood, the limited number of "kinds" that Noah had aboard must have evolved into the huge biodiversity we see today.

"question #1..If we evolved from apes, then why don't we see the stages around us like it says in science books."
the intermediate stages are dead. some of them left fossils, though.
"question#2. Where did the apes come from?"
primates.
"question #3. Why do we still have apes?"
their lineage survived, although like our ancestors, their ancestors are also dead. imagine a tree - the living species are like leaves. they are not directly connected to each other - they are related by a large number of dead species - branches of the tree.
"question#4..if there was a big bang, which there wasn't, how did it happen..."
i don't know the details. if you think the big bang didn't happen, how do you explain the hubble curve and cosmic background radiation. i assume, since you are convinced the big bang is false, you must be aware of the evidence that supports it, and have an alternative idea that explains it better. so let's hear it. if you propose to say that god did it, i think you must also explain HOW god did it, or you have really explained nothing.

I would like to point out that creationism has absolutely no proof. And for you questions
1. As it has been said before, the intermediate stages are extinct, or moreover, EVOLVED!
2. Apes evolved from the common ancestor of all mammals, The missing link between the Mammal-like reptiles of the permian period and mammals.
3. We evolved from certain species of great apes while many of today's species evolved from other species.
4. The big bang is a theory, and is suggested to have occured due to the action and combustion of certain key chemicals which were the building blocks of the universe.
Evolution is the way.......Your argument is false and STUPID!!!!you can't honestly believe that our evidence is false.

1) Man did not "evolve" from modern day apes. Man evolved from a common ancestor of the modern day ape.
2) Modern day apes evolved from the same common ancestor.
3) Why wouldn't we still have apes?
4) The "big bang" is a simplified term for the masses. If you want to understand what happened at "creation" I suggest you do some research. Look up singularity and the dirac function. It may be tough to grasp but if you try you won't have to resort to the crutch of "god created it".

1. The stages are the past.
2. The apes derived from a small arboreal creature in the Plesiadapiformes group.

3. Humans are apes. You may as well ask, "If there are poodles, why are there dachshunds?" They are branches of the same group.
4. The big bang happened and we can see the residual glow.

We and other primates evolved from a common source - we did not evolve from apes. Evolution is normally a multi generational series of events, so it is unlikely to be observed. However, it may be that apes are evolving - ie. the ones that hide better live longer to breed (just one possibility). Also evol is not based on species needing change - it is simply that when a change takes place, it either improves or reduces our ability to pass on genes. I do not mean to sound condescending, it is just that many people do not understand the concept - and unfortunately they are often the ones making decisions. If I am preaching to the choir, please forgive me.

1. We didn't evolve from apes, we evolved from a common ancestor. Apes were more like cousins.
2. Same answer. We were more like cousins.
3. ...Still, same answer.
4. Big Bang started from an immeasurably tiny, infinitesimal point in the universe. Something caused it to explode, though we aren't sure of what yet. Scientists say that this explains why the planets are still moving, because the force of the explosion is still present.

#1...we have thousands of fossils and skeletons of our early ancestors documented. One reason we don't see these stages is because these changes occur over thousands of generations. We now know that 98% of our DNA is shared with chimpanzees, thanks to advances in genetics.
#2...Humans, apes, monkeys, gorillas, baboons and lemurs are primates. Primates are mammals. Mammals are vertebrates. There are fossils that show the stages, and genetic information that confirms this.
#3...Apes are modern primates like humans.
#4...I challenge you to go and study the scientific theories that confuse you. The Big Bang Theory is the best explanation for the origin of the universe. Evolution is the best known explanation for the origin of the human species.
So go study up on this and learn to appreciate science.

You cant honestly believe that there is some superior being out there, where did he come from, why do we never have proof of gods existence, the big bang theory is a much more likely to explain the fact that we are here, at least there is some proof that this is what happened, instead of following blindly, do some research and form an opinion based on knowledge rather than superstition and fear.
