how does stealth rubber work?

My question today is how does stealth rubber work and what is its limitations? Like for instance can it climb alongside a wall or can it climb on a steep surface. That is a question I wish to ask.

There was recently a special on the History channel about Stealth Rubber. Fiveten makes climbing shoes with stealth rubber. Obviously you have to be able to move your feet, but the rubber actually runs into the cracks of the things you are climbing and it is really sticky.
