I'm joining rnh's campaign to ban Christian marriage. Time to remove their religion from what is essentially a legal contract.

It's obvious that they're on the wrong track; I mean, look at their divorce rate! And they insist on love and sex and marriage being so completely intertwined--and this one man/ one woman nonsense is totally outdated. I want to marry BOTH of my men, darn it!

Rev. Ritchie: Not really. But the question was only partially satirical.
I've married both of my men before the Goddess, and it irks me that neither one of them will legally be able to take over my affairs, inherit any property I wish to leave them, or take care of our children if something happens to me, unless I jump through twice as many legal hoops as a "conventional" marriage requires.

It's hard enough to find someone you could actually spend the rest of your life with; why to people feel it necessary to limit that? Gay, straight, bi, poly, mono--love is love, and shouldn't be limited by law.

I'm with you Jewel!
People should have a right to choose, whether polygamous/polyamorous, gay and lesbian, etc.

Unfortunately, the majority of our laws are conveniently set to benefit a group of people rather the general public.
There has not been separation of church and state, only until recently, and its been minimal.

Both your guys may have to wait a while...he he. ;-)

Oh man, Jonathan Swift would love this! Did you read An Innocent Proposal? The proposal of the outlandish to draw the reader's attention to a social ill.....

Well done!
