You don't ever forget them you just learn to move on. I think if you truly loved them they will always linger and tug at the old heart strings. You just learn to put it aside a move on with life. Time makes it easier but nothing takes it away!

I don't actually think that you can ever forget someone you once love, it'll still be in your heart or mind. You just learn from that relationship and try not to do it again in the near future whatever it is. It'll take times to move on and you'll know when you're ready to go out again. You can never forget them, and it is tough to move on. the best way to move and and get better though is to find someone else who makes you feel special and incredible. Once you find that other special someone, it will be alot easier to move on and forget about that past lover
