I would change my sleeping patterns if i could. I have chronic insomnia. there's nothing i can use safely,in the meds dept.

meanwhile i've started changing my diet, my dr. put me on Nexium & it got so expensive, we just didnt know waht to do...so we thought about ways to prevent having to take it.

I have cut out greasy food, every once in a while i have to have some fries though, but it wont set well since i've been eating better, & i've quit so much plain old "junk" food, We broil our meat, steam or bake our veggies & eat more salads.

my husband s really proud of me cause i lost like10 pounds in the 1st week, but, since i've been feeling better, I look at my house & i watn to redecorate!! he doesnt like that , but i'm gonna take it one room at a time. & do a lot homemade.& try to save some money, that i really cant spare.....

Sure I make changes, year after year. It would get boring if you stayed the same. I love life and all I can get out of it. if one project fails pick you re self up off the floor and venture into something new .You are idling away time and time is precious. If I loose a friend I just make another one. And go forward, and most of the time the other friend will come back if they were a real friend. If not you didn't loose any thing no way. They weren't a true friend. A true friend will try to work out problems. It like a bird if you feed it it will keep coming back even if you set it free, even it knows the hand that feeds it. if it comes back you know it is your friend.
I enjoy every thing to the limit , what more can you ask.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but over the course of a year I've lost 120 lbs and am now a size 8. I hope to lose another ten as my goal is to be a size 6.

This was no easy feat when you consider that I am disabled due to several joint and connective tissue disorders, and that my meds are notorious for causing weight gain. I also take chemotherapy every week.

My meds are prone to causing heart problems, bone loss, and diabetes, along with high blood pressure and a host of other side effects. These are lifelong medications, so I decided that I had better reduce my risk of developing these complications by doing my part, hence the weight loss.

After being divorced for a year due to his infidelity it has been a hard road. My goal is to have a stronger, closer relationship with God but depression raises it's ugly head and knocks me down. With the help of my R&S friends and God I make it through each bad time a bit stronger.
I wish you well. You are lucky to have friends and family near you.God Bless you!

My obessesion with working out-- I am trying to just take each day as it comes, and not stress about when I get my workout in-- and I decided to take 2 days off a week from working out now instead of one. (Yes I know this all sounds so silly and lame, but in all honesty, I would get so cranky if I did not work out-- I don't know why, but it was eating at me)
So I have been in prayer and continue to pray for the Lord to direct me and to keep my mind on HIM! (Don't get me wrong working out is excellent for us, but there is a fine line of how much time we put into it, ya know?)

I would like to spend less time at my business and more time serving the Lord. Trying to make changes by teaching someone my job, so I can accomplish that.

For me, letting go of the past is a constant struggle.

I don't look too far ahead because disappointment will find me. I live one day at a time.

Sounds like a plan to me.
I'm not changing, just continuing to improve different areas.
