I, just got gears of war afew days ago and the first thing that came to mind was.....f**k! this is awesome! It is the greatest shooter I have ever played, 1st or 3rd person. I have always been a playstation loyalist, I hated the original x box, and I cannot freaking stand any halo games (they are just so dumb to me, I mean aliens and laser guns, come on). Gears of war is just a masterpiece of visuals and gameplay. I'm sorry to say that I have no doubt that mgs4 will not be as good as gears, but I'm definitely gonna get it. My only problem is that metal gear always feels like the same story to me over and over and can only hope that this next installment feels fresh, new and...more original.

I'm a PS3 owner and I have to say Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2. The Metal Gear series is a legend in the gaming world and I seriously don't think that any other game will ever come close to topping this game. I played the first Killzone demo and thought that it was awesome, so I think that Killzone 2 is going to be even better.

Umm... I would say Metal Gear Solid 4 and Gears of War. But see, you didnt put the PS3 games classified as first person shooters. But If it was Halo 3 and Gears of War vs. Haze and Killzone 2, it would be Haze and Killzone 2, which I heard will be 10x better then Killzone

Im a playstation guy so I would say Metal gear solid 4 and killzone 2.

hardest question i have ever heard. 2 of the games have left so many fan bases and considered in the gaming world as one of the greatest games of all time(MGS4 and Halo 3), 1 of the games debuts with incredible gameplay(Gears of War), and 1 of them goes for a 2nd chance to prove to itself to be known in the gaming world as one of the best and to be next to high ranked games(Killzone 2).
When the other 3(Halo 3, MGS4, and Killzone 2) come out we will find out. But if i had to guess i would go for MGS4 and Killzone 2 because MGS4 is the last of its series and Hideo Kojima is gonna end it with a big BOOM!!! And Killzone 2 because its started to give proof that its gonna be big!

PS3 blows and every one knows it. XBOX may have some hardware problems but still.. it is the BEST console out there.
