Baptist
Lutheran

Presbyterian

Also, are Evangelicalism and Pentecostalism distinct from denominations? Can someone of any denomination be Evangelical or Pentecostal?

Lutherans and Presbyterians practice infant baptism. Prsbyterians, Lutherans rely heavily on the teachings of Calvinism while Baptists practice adult baptism and follow the teachings of Arminianism.
Pentecosal denominations place a lot of emphasis on speaking in tongues and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

While they are have differences, they have one similarity: They all felt that the Catholic church was apostate and felt the need to break off of that church, hence the name "protestants." But what I cannot figure out is this: If the "tree" was false, how can the "branches" be anything but false as well?

the differences are marginal. They all only preach watered down versions of the Gospel. It is only the Roman Catholic Church that preaches the fullness of Truth as handed down by the Apostles who obtained the initial deposit of Truth from the Lord Jesus Himself.

Methodist is the least strict...we have lady ministers...Baptists dont..
