Do I have a reason to be pissed about withheld phone calls?

That he gets once a week at around 12 or 1am. He never answers them but he also will fight me if i try to grab it before he gets to ignore it...?

Honestly, that sounds pretty suspicious to me. Who would be consistently calling him each week that late at night? If he answered it in front of you, then you'd have an idea of who it was. And if he doesn't let you pick it up either, then that means he definitely does not want you to see who's calling. Hate to break it to you dear, but it's probably a booty call. Ask him what's up. If he's honest about it, you can probably talk it out. If he gets defensive, annoyed, agitated, etc. then that's one more clue to what he's really been doing.

What the f, its one thing if he is insecure in the relatioship but this is just out side the bounds of socially excepted behavior in a relationship. Point blank, how do you expect him to trust your opionin enough to help him love himself when you let him get away with this stuff? Again love isn't enough its how you use that love, and not only does he not know how to handle yours, now I see he can't even handle his own, I say it again, DANGEROUS! And you asking if you should be pissed shows just how out of sink with your own feelings you are..... confront him on both sides because this is just going to mean pain later on.....
