attention deficit / depression medications?

Question

which medications for depression do not cause weight gain? can any of these meds be used double-duty for attention deficit too, so a patient would not need 2 medicines?

First of all, a therapist never "cured" anything. Depression meds cause little if any weight gain. In fact, the best way to prevent weight gain and reduce depression is to become more active. (Activity increases endorphins which alleviates depression). I do not know of any meds that are prescribed for both ADHD and depression.

Do you work with a therapist too?

The treatments for these are different. Pills work on symptoms. They are not cures.

But working with a therapist you can learn to train yourself to overcome both of these.
