An exam that's scheduled here is $35, but one that you come in and don't have an appointment for is $45.
Best way to know for your area is to give the vet a call and ask prices for an exam on a new cat. They're up front about the costs so you'll know for sure.

i'm no longer particularly particular if the expenditures which you point out are life like, pondering the actuality that expenditures can selection a lot in diverse areas. yet as some distance because of fact the kidney concern -- i don't have the lab report in front of me, so i can't see precisely what the end results of the lab paintings have been. yet in many circumstances, kidney ailment does not demonstrate indicators till that is in the late stages. that's the comparable with human beings. many human beings (and animals) are walking around feeling superb, no longer even understanding that they are having kidney issues. that is superb to guard the topics early so as that there is of venture that the concern won't grow to be something that can not be dealt with.

It depends on the vet. My vet charges $45 but I have recently seen an ad for home visits by a vet for $30. Shop around!

Depending on whats wrong...my cat was getting sick a lot a couple of weeks ago, so I took him into the vet, and the initial check up was $42.00, but I got them to do some blood work too so that we could eliminate some of the bad stuff ($112.00) and then I bought some medication and specialty food ($9.00 and $23.00)
But my baby's worth it!

Well I get vet visits for free due to my job, but at my vet it's usually about $30 for a cat exam, and it'll be more if it needs treatments, shots, etc.

Depending on your area, from $30 -$100. Also consider meds. It is a good idea to get him checked if he continues vomiting.

If your cat is only throwing up, is s/he throwing up food, water, or hair balls? If it's hair balls, there's stuff for that.
If s/he is throwing up food and water, you can try giving him/her a small dosage of childrens pepto. This will help settle the stomach.
