I have an online store based in Ga. We want to be able to sell to all of the contiguous United States. I need to know how to charge sales tax. If someone in any other state orders from us, do we have to charge sales tax? If so, what tax rate do we charge? Should we just charge tax in every state?

Assuming that Georgia is your only physical location, you only need to worry about Georgia sales tax.

In Georgia, the sale tax rates vary by county (and the 1% city of Atlanta tax).

The Georgia dept. of revenue's website has all of the rates listed as well as how to apply for a license.

You only have to charge sales tax to people from your own state. You don't charge sales tax on sales where the item is delivered to an address not in GA.
