I fry them in butter & oil & set aside. Then I saute sliced onions (& sometimes chopped garlic and mushrooms) in butter. Pour over perogies and serve with cold sour cream. Sometimes I add them to simmering chicken noodle soup.

Oh, the best way is to saute them with onions. They're great when served with sour cream!
I have tried boiling them, too. They're good but the onions add some flavor and the satue adds a nice texture.

I just boil them until they float to the top, drain and put them into butter with sauteed onions, salt and pepper.
If I'm really hungry and in a hurry, I skip the onions.

I boil them, then put them in a bowl with onions that have been sauteed in butter, salt and pepper, and of course there is always sour cream for dipping!

I boil them to get soft, then fry in a pan with olive oil, onion & garlic powder, pepper. They come out browned & crunchy, yum yum...

I treat them like pasta. Boil, drain, toss with pesto, and top with a Parm/asiago/Romano blend. And some pepper. What I wouldn't give for some of that tonight!

I prefer them fried, but if I'm making them quickly for my daughters breakfast (she loves them) then I usually boil them using the microwave. She likes them topped off with sour cream.
