I can get a discount for bulk burgers. I thought about wrapping them up in fancy gold wrapping with our name printed on it and our wedding date. Do you think this would be OK?

GOD ARE YOU THAT DESPERT TO SEVER CHEAP HAMBURGERS TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ON YOUR WEDDING DAY. THAT IS SO LAME AND I WOULD NOT ENCOURGE IT OK

I sincerely hope you are not serious.

If you want to have a picnic with picnic food, then grill your own burgers and dogs, but don't insult your guests with bottom rate fast food. If you are trying to save on expenses, you would be better off to serve them just cake, finger foods and punch/coffee. At least that wouldn't be such an insult - and if I spent the money/time to attend and buy you a gift, I would be far more insulted by a stale fast food burger that I couldn't even choke down because of the grease.

What about nugget trays from ChickFilA?? Those are awesome lol.

You could up the bugers into quarters and stick toothpicks in them... I'm not being sarcastic, do what you want, you're paying for it. If the guests want steak, let them go to a steakhouse after the reception.

LMAO!! Oh my gosh you have no idea how hard I am laughing right now, lol... this is hilarious

But anyhow, on a more serious note... if this is not a joke, then... um.. well, do what makes you happy! If you're on a budget, then go for the McD's burgers, just don't forget the fries!! =)

It sure would! I think though maybe you should go with White Castle because you can get some crave cases and save *** dinero! Why don't you have your reception at someones trailer and save even more rather than renting a hall. Don't get a photographer either, just have some one come in and do sketches.

my husband is a supervisor at a KFC so we served KFC chicken at our reception...it was awesome and there wasnt a piece left at the end. and my friends are all pretty jealous that I served KFC and they didnt. so I would go with the burgers for sure..and after you re-wrap then stack them up and use ribbon to decorate it to look like a wedding cake...that would be cool.

Cheaper still, take a tour of all local Supermarkets first thing on the morning of wedding and there are lots of reduced, sandwiches, rolls, etc...... un wrap them organise on a table and it would look good, there would be a variety on offer and it would not cost you as much as the MCD'S.

It could be, but everyone would know it's McDonalds. Honestly, I don't think it would go over very well.

It would probably be better and cheaper if you just did a small informal reception with finger foods like peanuts, pretzels and a fruit tray.

That is quite an expensive wrapping. Do you think people will actually save the wrappers from their burgers? I think you could save more money by not wrapping.
