All trucks upto the f450 come off the line as cab and rails. Buyer i.e the dealer tells them weather to put a bed on it, flatbed or ship to them still as rails and do a local conversion. The flat is held on by bolts and clamps, you can buy a reg bed, pull the flatbed off and install the reg one same way. You can order from the dealer or goto a local wrecking yard and buy one from a truck that has no bed damage. Price that way is usually around $100-$200

I haven't converted it, but usually a bed from a f-350 is used and if I remember , their is a frame made that the bed sits on as most f-450s are straight back and the f-250/f-350 are angled for the axle.
Usually you can buy their setup to rig it aftermarket so you may want to contact tuscany on the fact...
The 08s actually come with a bed on the f-450s

I retired from KY truck. We built that truck. Just find a box from the junkyard and put it on. If you have a duelly then look for a duelly box. I believe that you can use anything from a F-250 on up.
I will admit, that for the most part, the F-450's do come through as chassis cab's and the F-350's and below will have boxes, at about 80-85%
Shouldn't be too much trouble, good luck.

I'm not sure about the newer trucks, but the older Fords came in two widths of duallies. One was wider for use with a bed and the other was narrower and cannot be fitted with a bed. If your rear axle is wide enough, it should just be a matter of lining up the bed with the holes on the frame and bolting it down.
