After your tat has completely healed, it should probably need some touch ups. Your tattoo artist should have some type of guarantee about that, such as free touch ups up to 8 weeks after tat....just call and ask

Yes he can but they usually wait until it is healed which is about 2 weeks but overall healing takes 3 months. Most artist usually include a touch up because sometimes the ink won't take in some areas. I have a tattoo on top of my foot and it is lighter in some spots and I got it done about 3 months ago but am waiting to get my touch up in the winter. Call your artist and ask him about the guarantee on your tattoo. I have a friends who's tattoo is guaranteed a life time.

There is no way for you to judge how it's gonna look when it's healed. You just got it yesterday!!! It will scab & itch & scab & peel for approximately two weeks! (Do NOT pick the scabs or you WILL pull the color out!!!) The colors will look drab & the black will look like different shades of gray while healing. Wait until it's completely healed & then see what you think. If it needs to be touched up then your tattoo artist should take care of that for you, as long as you had it done in a reputable shop.

It's normal for it to be lighter, that's just your skin growing over the "wound." The rest of that tattoo will catch up to those parts. As for reshading or touch-ups, you can get that when your tattoo is completely healed. Some parts of skin don't hold ink very well. Touch-ups should be included in the price of the tattoo. Hopefully you tipped well, because the artist might not be so reluctant to help you out, if your didn't help him out. Make sense?

I think because of swelling and scabbing the color may be a little off... This happened to me, I'd wait until it's healed before you go back to the artist... I bet he'll tell you the same thing. This same thing happened to me... it will level out, I'd give it at least 7 days, though. Good luck!

Touch-ups on tattoos are extremely common. If there are really noticeable errors/needed touch ups, go back to your artists when it is healed and point them out... A lot of places will do free or really cheap touch ups on tattoos that you got at their shop.

Give your new piece a month or two to heal and settle in. If there are spots that need fixed or touched up, contact your artist, he/she should gladly fix it up the way you want it for free. Touch ups are part of the service they provide.

I always make an appointment for two months out for touch ups.

wait until it is healed...get some A&D ointment (located in the baby isles by diaper rash stuff)...then worry about it, there is nothing that can be done until it is fully healed. Sometimes your body doesn't accept certain colors as easily as others..I had that happen, but my artist fixed it for me. Just relax and let it heal and don't pick the scabs..which I am sure you know.

Yes, but your tattoo needs to heal first. You might want to wait 2-4 weeks depending on how big your tattoo is.
