Most toy donations are made through charities. The Marines collect toys for children during the Christmas holidays, and there is a program called Santa's Closet

Mattel has a toy donation program called Mattel Children's Foundation. For more information, see the link below.

Don't know how youu feel about this but it is an idea - I just heard of a toy manufacturer that will begin rolling out action figure toys based on the Bible at Walmart fairly soon. I don't remember what their name is but if you search for Bible based toys - I'm sure they are there. I would think if anyone is going to donate, it might be them.

try your local womens aid or home start group they have lots of children on their books that are in genuine need you should find the numbers in your local phone book
