I guess I'll have to start referring to my fishing trips as "Deep Gulf" fishing. How am I going to explain that one to my wife? Thanks a lot.

Although technically a "sea" is a large expanse of saline water connected with an ocean, the term is usually used as a synonym for an ocean. Some bodies of water that are called "seas" are not actually seas and some seas are not called "seas".
