Unless you are an insanely good fabricator, you are gonna have to stick to a nissan engine. While going to a 2jz engine is nice cuz they are great for horsepower and easily modified, you will need to go with toyota transmission to bolt to toyota engine. Then when you go to bolt up everything nothing is gonna work right cuz its a toyota engine going into a nissan frame. Like i said it will be too much work/money unless you are an awesome fabricator and i dont even know that would be worth it, but by the time its said and done if it can even be done you will easily have ferrari money into this vehicle. Good luck and hope it works out for ya.

WHY? a 3 or 4 year old 350Z would provide you with something that would get to and from work. Beside's being a year to fabricate a 240sx then what you would need ECM Transmission wiring harnesses Stronger Rear end and making things like speodmeter and tach to work.

I would throw tha 2JZ idea out of the window. the best way to start with big power and still stay in the nissan family of motors is the VQ35 swap. this way you dont have to do off the wall cutting and fabricating. and it would only cost like half tha price.
