First I want all of you to know that the question is to solve the doubt in my head about christianity.
I don't blame or disapprove of christianity.

1.According to my research there is no clear phrase where Jesus Christ declares " Oh people ! Worship me , the almighty" or something like that.

2. What explanation for the following versus do you have:

a. "My Father is Greater than I " (John 14:28)
b."...I cast out devils by the spirit of God..." ( Mathew 12;28)

3. Jesus refuted even a remote suggestion of his divinity. Consider the following incident in the Bible :

"And, behold , one came and said unto him, " Good master , what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?"

And he said " Why callest thou me Good?
There is none good but one that is God"

(The BIble , Mathew 5:17-20)

Any explanation.
Please donot show disrespect for your religion by answering something meaningless or out of the point, please speak in the real way for the better good.

Thanks a lot for answering.
But moving further it makes true sense that Bible has errors.
(Not my desicion, but from your answers , it really shows that)

And a lot of people trying to help cleary agreed with quotations and said that "yes , he was only the son of the God, and was not equal to him"

Then why do you people ( I may have to include myself ) worship Jesus Christ , why not the real God, the Almighty.

Doesn't it makes sense, to worship the creator of Jesus Christ, the Altmighty God.

My further reasearch on the Qur'an concluded that it too requires all the Muslims to believe in Jesus but only as a messenger of God. And ofcourse Islam states clearly that Jesus was one of the favorites of the Almighty God and was even called his son.

Hey people , I never say I oppose any religion. Or anything like that.

All I want is a truth that would help us all. Thanks, keep answering...

Further more , one side of the people say that " Yes he wasn't the God Almighty" and again they turn that he was God , and must be worshipped.

I ask you all why do we have such a great confusion in our religion, why isn't it possible for even a single christian to state the real truth and end this question.

And people only say he didn't want people to worship him and just credited his father for all, then do that man !!! Worship the God he asked us to Worship !!!!

I think that the only way to know the truth is to understand the misunderstood religion " Islam".

It has complete explanation to everything. And atleast it's not confusing like Bible. And ofcourse, in hundreds of verse it is mention in Qur'an that "There is no God but Allah and he is the one who must be worshipped and we must not worship anyone but him and he is the creator of the universe...."

They appear to be saying he isn't God out of one side of their mouth and then saying he is out of the other. No wonder they're so confused half the time, as evidenced by katefields below me.

your best answer to these sincere questions will come from praying on them

However
proof that the holy spirit is upon you is the fact you answer your own search of where in scripture Christ calls himself great.

He does as you've quoted when He asks
“Why do you call me good?” “Only God is truly good."

In this reply He is not arguing against His divinity, He is rather calling the person to recognize the truthful of his statement

the key to Christ is in his humility

Every time you come across a scripture you don't understand
pray on it ask God and then you will see how He will help explain the subtly of his way.
James 1:5
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

God Bless You

No, He didn't ask people to Worship Him.
Are you asking about the nature of Jesus the man, or Jesus the Christ?

Christ knew when He spoke that He was One with the "Father."
He spoke of it. He was aware of Spirit, and didn't depend on his earthly eyes to tell Him who he was, but developed His Spiritual eyesight. That's why He could do and say so many Spiritual things. He was indeed one (Consummated) with His Spiritual Father in Heaven.

When Man and Wife get married, and consummate their oneness, they are called one, not two. One in "flesh" and soul, mentally, and in agreement or will. (at least it should be.) When Christ was consciously aware of His Oneness with His Creator, He spoke of it. He said that anyone that is one with Him, (because He is one with God,) they are one with God also. Their wills are aligned. Not separate. Their identity will be of Divine Origin, just as His was. (is) He was trying to make them aware as He was. It's not good enough to have Divine Nature in you that's asleep (" Sh-h if you listen close enough, you can hear it snoring!") no, you must be aware of it, and develop it as He did, to truly be labeled Divine. He said, and knew, that God up there was His Daddy. The Jews revolted at the thought, and He said, "Soloman declared that "Ye are all gods, how then do you balk at me saying that He is my Father?"

We are a triune being also. Body, Soul, and Spirit. Yes, we have more parts as well, you might add. It's not so far fetched as you might think.

While Jesus was in his human body he was a servant of God. He exemplified what all Christians should act like. He was humble and gave credit to God, his father. After he was crucified and raised from the dead, he returned to Heaven with God, was given power and knowledge of all things.
Jesus says: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind" Matthew 22:37. He also says : "The father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands" John 3:35
"My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, no one can snatch them out of my father's hand. I and the father are one." John 10:29-30
Jesus did not claim devinity on earth because he did not want the people to worship a man, a creation of God. He wanted them to recognize that all his power was a gift from God and to honor him. However, Jesus was a manifestation of God on earth, a part of God and his son, so once Jesus returned to his place at the father's right hand, he is to be worshipped as the Lord and Savior God promised.

When Jesus came to Earth as a human he left his glory and divinity behind because if he didn't his glory would destroy us because we are full of sin. So without his glory and with his human-ness Jesus was less great than God the father. As a human, Jesus was completely dependent on God the father, he prayed to God the father and cast out devils by the power of the spirt of God the father. The fact that Jesus left his divinity behind didn't make him any less perfect though.

Well we must use the whole of scripture to ask the Question Of Jesus and his divinity. See he while he was here took upon himself the likeness of man and made himself a servant of God. read the following.

Phl 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Phl 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not
Phl 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Phl 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

in that verse you see he is equal to God but mad himself less for the sake of man. AS far as being worshiped during his life he was not worshiped as God but after his death he allowed himself to be. you find this in when Tomas says to him after he looks at his wounds my lord and my God and he worships him. See the thing about single verses from the bible is they alone might have a meaning but in order to understand the bible and what it says we must know it all. it as a whole gives us truth. You will also see Jesus said I and the father are one in John. What the bible tells us is that Jesus was both 100 % man and 100% God as the second part of three the trinity. I spent a year in study of the trinity because it mad no sence to me it took the whole of the bible to get the picture across to me.
I like to tell people this saying A God small enough for our minds is not big enough for our needs. Understanding Jesus as part of the trinity is hard but it is clear in scripture that this is the case. The human mind cannot understand the true nature of God, but if scripture tells us he is one but plural than this is so.

Feel free to email me if you want to talk more about it. this is just a short answer to a very large topic.

God bless

Jesus left HIS Glory (The Power--Light) that made HIM the Creator, and became a Man.
Total Man.
At that Point the Father was Greater then Jesus, UNTILL Jesus was Raised from the Dead and Ascended back UP to Planet Heaven and Got HIS Glory Back--then they were the Same in Glory.

If He outrightly said that He was God, He would not be fulfilling the requirement of humility and therefore divinity on earth.

If one is born to the earth, (arguably, even God) humility to powers or authorities above you is required to be truly righteous.

In the first book of the Torah, God is speaking to "Himself" right as He is preparing to create mankind. Jews are monotheistic, so it would make sense that when God said" "Let US make man in OUR own image and according to OUR likeness..." (Genesis 1:26). He had to be speaking ONLY to Himself and not fellow gods, because there is only ONE creator.

Jesus said... "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father", but He neither referred to Himself as God, nor as the "son of God." other people referred to Him as that, but He never said it Himself, so that his humility and therefore His divinity would be complete, and perfect. Jesus only referred to Himself as "the son of man" and rightly so. He emptied himself of His rights to be able to do this... (Read Philippians 2:5-11). ->

"Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus, Who though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.
Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance,
he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross. Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

"whoever exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted".

Humility is the most important thing in a Christian's walk with God. It's true that a person can be humble without being righteous or wise... in fact, that's easy... no reason for pride. But a person who IS righteous or wise will lose it all down the drain without humility. Without great humility a person can never truly be righteous or wise, because pride sours it.

1. God does not command but is worthy of worship

1b John 9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him.

2. Jesus is God in the flesh and the flesh is to be in submission to the spirit. We are created first flesh and then spirit and the first should serve the last.

3. Jesus is not refuting but clarifying to the man he is God.

God the Father, Jesus his Son, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings (persons). They form the Godhead. God the Father is the one we worship and pray to.
1. You are right he never said worship me, he said worship and pray to the Father and gave an example of how to do that.

2. Yes, he said those things because they are separate beings and the statements are true.

3. Contrary to your assertion that Jesus refuted his own divinity, he rather quite proclaimed it, and the Jewish leaders at the time were so angry with this assertion, they sought to stone him. Rather than deny being diviine, he supported it with quotes from their own law (Psalm 82:6).....

John 10
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Jesus said "I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me" -John 6:38

When Jesus was baptized a voice from heaven said "“This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” -Matthew 3:17

When Jesus was about to ascend to heaven he told Mary "I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God" -John 20:17

All these scriptures show that Jesus is not God. God is the Father of Jesus. Jesus, in turn, is God's Son, plain and simple. There is no mysterious trinity, Jesus is nowhere spoken of in the Bible as being God's equal. Rather, Jesus is submissive to God (John 8:29; Hebrews 5:8).

The Bible teaches that God sent Jesus. It does not teach that God himself came down. -John 3:16; 17:3
