As far as I'm concerned - ANY tattoo that is done SPECIFICALLY to be shown off in a pair of ultra-low cut jeans is just wrong...
Not to mention cheap and trashy - thus the label of a "tramp stamp"
Hopefully this TREND will start to die out shortly - as it is being waaaaaaaaaaaay too overdone these days ;);););)

Some call it a "Target Tat". For those that dont know what this means, you should not be getting a tattoo then. Anyways, I have designed a few of these for the ladies and feel they can accent a women very well or not at all. If you are going small, then I suggest to the left or to the right of the spine. If you are going large such as a Lotus flower with some symmetrical vines on the left and right, then yeah definately the middle. But if you must make it small and in the middle, then may I suggest you get a tat of your hand giving someone the finger this way you get your point across to the ignorant ones out there. And yes they can be sexy and will always catch my eye no matter where I am at!

Thank you Shareef. I love your answer. As for the people who say it makes men look at you butt, well I am not a man but I have watched them and they look at female's butts if they have a tattoo or not. Most men just like to look at a female butt. They like to look at boobs too so if you get a tattoo on your boob does that mean you are a tramp? Some men like to look at a woman's legs so does that also go along with the tramp theme if you have a tattoo on your leg?

I'm not a guy but I'll answer...those tattoos always (IMO) seem to be strategically placed so that they are right above your behind, which makes a man look at your butt, and then makes him think about sex...not necessarily saying it makes it a tramp stamp, but it does make one wonder...

Sorry, I'm, female but I just had to answer.
NO tattoos on a female should be considered a "tramp stamp".
I am not trying to attract any guy with my ink -- it is there because I like them - period

i wouldn't consider it a "tramp stamp" if it's off to one side. and i don't consider "tramp stamps" a bad thing anyway. so it wouldn't matter to me either way.

my ex did... everytime he saw a chick with one he would point it out and comment on how she had a "tramp stamp"..... He wasn't a very classy guy himself though. :)
