Yes...but it's worth remembering that "tolerant" does not mean "accepting". I can be tolerant of a certain amount of foolishness, but I will never accept it or agree with it. Depending upon what the issue is, I might even feel obliged to speak out against it. That's not necessarily being intolerant. But it might just be that a certain amount of wise intolerance is a good thing.

Like anything else, tolerance can be used wisely, or abused foolishly. Remember, you're under NO obligation to be tolerant of everything...that would just be stupid.

I'll be tolerant of those who do what they do while minding their own business. But the second someone says that I also need to do what they do just because THEY think it's right, I lose my tolerance.

I am tolerant to a fault sometimes. I will fight for the right to have an opinion, but I will not fight anyone on theirs. If I think it is important enough, I may try to sway the other person, but for the most part, I believe in letting people live their life the way they see fit.

Depends on the subject. If someone's making fun of my faith then no I'm on the all out defense. Other than that I am fairly tolerant. Oh and unless you make fun of people with disabilities then I tend to go off the deep end.

There's a fine line between tolerance and apathy. I know when something does not deserve to be tolerated.

Tolerance is one thing, agreement is something totally different. Speaking in a way that won't tick off half the R&S community, I can have friends who like the Yankees, but I will never think that their taste in teams is "correct".

Yes . I deal with people not with religions or nationalities. I love eveybody I believe that all people are good in nature. If someone makes a mistake we have to forgive him/her. God forgives and we are nothing compared to God. So yes I am tolerant but unfortunately people are not tolerant to me.

Yes, I share what I believe. Not tried to force other to believe the same. I plant the seed the holy spirit does the rest.

I do not believe that homosexuality, sex outside of marriage, adultery, living together while not married is biblical. I share this but with the attitude that I am not the one in charge. It's God's buisness so I let God tend to it. I just openly share that I don't think it's right.

Up to a point; superficial differences don't bother me, like race or gender ... but I don't believe people can change so I'm not very tolerant of people that were previously bad, ie, 'reformed' criminals.
