A pale silvery sage green would be beautiful! Red would be bold. Navy blue would be very cool. Good luck!

depending on the lighting the room has (natural or otherwise) - if there is plenty of light, a wall or two painted dark red is quite nice (offset with the others being white)
If there is not much light, pick a light shade of whatever color you like, though personally I'd stick with the red or purple shades with gray.

I have a gray tile floors, a dark gray and black countertop, and golden oak cabinets in my kitchen. I needed something to "warm up" the look of the room so I chose a shrimp color. It's not a rose, pink, coral, or terracotta, but close to all of them. I called it shrimp because I can't remember the name of it.
Anyway, it looks absolutely wonderful. Everyone loves it.

My brother had grey carpet and white walls. cream or light blue could do. Honestly Grey is not my favourite but grey carpet is good if you have kids!

A pale teal blue would be very sharp with dark gray.

a Navy blue, liike someone else said, it would make a nice contrast and be pleasing to the eye, coincidentally those are my 2 favorite colors

I think a very pale grey would do beautifully,,,,,,,,then you can go with bright colored throws and or throw pillows.......
