I think it could be a good move for Jr. Its very unfortunate he could not stay with the team and company his father built for him. That would be the case of the evil step mom. lol.Hendrick is a good team. He'll atleast get more wins under his belt this next season

It's an excellent move for Jr. For one Hendrick Motorsports is set on winning every week. Second, Jr. has had some chances but lets face it four blown engines isn't helping his chances and sitting in the 14th position with only a handful of races to go before the chase could mean a year without the No. 8 car.

Also, Jr. hasn't been to victory lane in a long time. This is one thing Hendrick wants to get Jr. Trips to the winner's circle.

Teresa doesn't have the intuition on running a first class racing stable no matter who she adds.

I think Dale is a talentless hack. Next year I get to find out if I'm wrong or not, but Hendrick has all winter to educate him and teach him how real racers drive a car. There are no excuses for poor performance by Earnhardt next year, but he has two championship caliber teammates in the same equipment. How does he expect to beat them both?

I like Jr. but he not my favorite driver. My first choice for him was Joe Gibbs racing mainly because the way him & Smoke work & race together on the track. Going to Hendrick Motorsports is like Barry Bonds going to the Yankees not enough ego to go around. Going to see alot of hurt feelings next year.

I think he is kind of a sell out. I like Jr, but I can not stand Hendrick or his team. Aside from being the most popular guy in NASCAR, he might actually become a decent driver with HMS though. We will see next year. What is everyone going to do with their #8 Budweiser stuff? Tony will never race for them, so I am OK with it.

It'll be a good move for him and good for HMS. With Hendrick, he'll get the resources he didn't have with DEI, and HMS gets the most popular diver in the business.

I'm not real sure why there are so many people who hate Jr. so much. I think some of it residual from his dad, which is sad because Jr. is a kinder, gentler Earnhardt.

All that to say......as an HMS fan (Gordon in particular), I'm cool with it.

I am not a Earnhart fan. Jr has had some hard luck with DEI and Hendricks never seems to have mechanical problems in their cars. I think this is a good move for JR
He will get a chance to prove he is as good
as other drivers on the circuit. Maybe skeptics like me will start believing when he drives reliable equipment and wins races

His top 10 finishes WILL increase nest year, guaranteed.

I wish the best of luck to thee DEI drivers. Theyre going to need some, if luck is the problem.

I hate to be negative, but why are the 24 fans the first to jump on another superstar. It looks like the same crap theyre complaining about with the whimpacleese critics?

I love the idea i just hate his ignorant, low life fans who are rude and very very obnoxious. well see what happens next year when we merge as a team will his ignorant fans still feel threatened by Jeff Gordon?? but all in all I have always and always loved Jr. despite his fans next year we will all be one I'm sure they'll find something else to B--ch or complain about we'll see.

I do. I like Jr. and I'm glad he's coming to the team of the best drivers and cars in NASCAR and joining FOUR TIME CHAMPION Jeff Gordon as a teammate. It got rid of my least favorite HMS guy and brought in my most favorite non HMS guy at the same time that it drives the old redneck 24 hating 3/8 fans nuts! It couldn't get much better!
