4) Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?____________________

5) A farmer had 17 sheep. All but 9 died. How many live sheep were left? ___________________

I'm amazed every time I see this at how many people can't do math. 30 divided by a half is 60, and if you take 3 pills every 30 minutes, you start at zero minutes and take your first pill, then at 30 minutes you take the 2nd one, then at 60 minutes you take the 3rd one and they are gone.

I'm just always amazed that so many people can miss these two questions.

4. 70. because 30 divided by "half" is 60. plus ten is 70.

You "wound the clock" so it has to be an analog clock, not digital. Since it was set to go off at 9:00, it will alarm after only one hour.
