Im 97% sure that college isnt going to work for me but Im giving it 1 year (atleast I can get a good gym out of it for free so I can get in good shape). Anyways what could I do if this doesnt work? I want to live in San Francisco but since I heard its very expensive, so what about New York or LA? I wanted to be a cop but I have to be 21 and Im 18. So what could I do that would be a ok to good paying job for a 19 year old in SF, NY , or LA?? Thanks

Without a college degree or a marketable skill, you will probably be working in low pay, no future jobs.

Do both. Get a crimminal justice degree and THEN become a cop. You'll go MUCH farther with the sheepskin than without it. Many large police departments will limit your career progression without the degree. Think long term.

All 3 of those cities are hideously expensive. What might sound like a lot of money will barely pay the rent there.

College is too expensive to waste on not even trying. Maybe if you don't want to get an eductation you can land a job in something like a trade. Steel workers make good money but it is hard and dangerous.
You won't be a cop without college so you can just forget that unless it is in a tiny town but you will never be promoted.

A college degree is like a high school diploma these days. You will miss out on a lot of opportunities without a college degree. Unless you are a skilled laborer, you will have a tough go of making a living. If you love working out, become a certified personal trainer.

NY and LA are also expensive.
