I'm taking a woman to our first date, but I don't want to pay a lot. Assuming we just got a few burgers, fries, and cokes, would McDonalds or Wendy's be cheaper for a first date?

They both have the dollar menu. But there's a clown at MickeyD's.

If you want any chance at all at a second date, forget the fast food scene. Make a lovely picnic (sandwiches with the crust cut off, cheese and good quality crackers, fresh fruit and a thermos of lemonade) and take the lady to a beautiful place to eat the picnic. There are lots of places to go that don't cost a lot of money.
You can show the lady a good time without coming off as a cheap shmuck.

Depends on what you like. Mickey D's has a great double cheeseburger and spicy mcchicken sandwich for a $1, also great fries or drink (med) $1. Wendy's burgers aren't that great in my opinion buy they do have good nuggets (5 for a $1 I believe). They also have Frosties (99cents I believe). My Senior yr, a friend of mine and I took our dates to Taco Bell for Homecoming, my meal was under $10.

That is definalty cheap for a 1st date or really any date. If you don't want to spend a lot and just want burgers & fries try a diner or a chain restaurant like Sonic - at least that place is fun. If you have anyour own place cook for her - that would be cool.

I took this girl out for a year and spent a $100 a week on her and she hasn't kissed me till just very recent. I even bought here a $3250 diamond ring and never much got a kiss. Don't listen to those people that are saying put out so that the girl would put out, just be nice. It's not worth buying your girl too much because she'll think you are to easy, but one other thing bud, try something w/ a little bit more pep like the movies or something, i'm just trying to help you out but don't spend no more than you can fit penny's in your pocket.

I feel really bad for the woman you are taking out! Both McDonalds and Wendys are cheap and disgusting. Maybe if you get her really drunk first she won't notice...

If you are that cheap - go to White Castle or Crystal Burger
Or Better yet just a hotdog vedning cart somewhere.
I wouldn't be banking on the 2nd date - so you'll save All Kinds of Cash!

wow, uhm...you can do alot better than that. i'd be embarassed to bring a girl to a fast food joint for a first date.
maybe a few times when you guys are much closer.
by the way, wendy's would be cheaper ;-)

McD's is definitely cheaper. McD's is synonymous with CHEAP. Wendy's isn't much better. But, given those choices... McD's.
