this is just a thought. if you like nature and science, why dont u major in wildlife biology and try to get an internship with the park rangers? it's not easy getting hired as a park ranger, but maybe its something you would consider trying for?

When I was in tenth-grade. A consular ask us group of student what you want to do ten-years from now. I took it as a good question. So I choose electricity. The name of the game is construction because there always construction. Landing a part time job at a university in maintenance department through my senior year. After I graduated it became full time. The work itself was not too appealing pushing broom, and other custodian stuff. So I left, got the another job that I wanted. I thought but was wrong. The guy always yelling. Lay offs. Drugs. Dirty. Low intelligent personals. Some companies has no benefits. Compare the job I had at university. Holiday. Vacations. Sick leaves. Other stuff at university.
In the other wards. If you get some thing. Better think about it. Like I should.
Good Luck.

I am a senior in College, I am going an Accountant and I had the very same problem that you are struggling with. I had no clue what I wanted to be when I grew up!
I found this really good book at Hastings or Barnes & Nobles, it is called 'Discover What You Are Best At' It has multiple choice quizzes in Math, Logic, Business, Mechanical and a few others. The premise of the book is that people enjoy doing what they succeed in, so you test yourself to determine what you are best in. Then, the book tells you if you what professions use the skills that you just tested for. It even has a section in the back of the book with job descriptions and median salaries for each profession. It really helped me a ton!

This is normal to go through at your age. You could consider going to a junior college until you figure out what you want to do - its cheaper. If you can afford it, you could spend some time abroad or get involved in something like Peace Corps or another type of program that will pay for you to volunteer in another country. This helps to give you a more well-rounded perspective about life.

Doesnt matter what we do. What are you good at? Some high schools and colleges offer testing or evaluations of what you may be good at. You answer some questions and they print out a report based on your answers. Definitely apply for jobs in industries you are interested in. You may discover what you thought you liked, turn out not to be something you would want to do for a while.
