Well my son who is almost 2 got his haircut the other day. While I was sitting on the couch he came up behind me with a blanket and a brush. I didn't say anything to see what he was doing. He put the blanket around my shoulders and started brushing my hair very wild looking. Then he told me he was all done, came to insect his masterpiece and told me"Mommy you look so purdy, now wheres my money?" He gave the barber the money for his haircut so he thought he deserved some money too! I gave him a quarter to put in his piggy bank and he came back looking for daaddy cause it was his "turn"!!! I lOVE MY SON!!!

When I adopted my now 9 year old son, I remeber going to the orphanage to adopt someone and he was the first one I talked to. He had a black eye and I asked him what happened to his eye, and he told me "I made mommy mad and she hit me". When he told me that I looked at my husband and started to cry and then he said, "Oh no, don't cry, she's gone now and my eye is getting better now, see?" and he's pointing to the both of his eyes. When he went back with the others, I told my husband "I want that little boy." Then the attorney that ran the place asked me if I made a choice yet and I told her "Yes, I want the little boy with the black eye." It was so sad and knowing I helped him made me feel so much better.

When I hadn't been born yet, my mom had taken my sister to a drive through. She was only about 3 or 4. Apparently, when the lady asked if they would like to buy onion rings, my sister screamed, "EEW! Those onion rings are gross! I hate them!" and so on.
As well, when my sister received a doll house from my our grandparents for her fourth birthday, she said "Wow! I've wanted this dolly house ever since I was five years old!" I guess Andrea could be pretty hilarious.

After spending time with my parents my son always comes back to me speaking really proper and over enunciating everything lol He'll tell me "Momma, your eyes are so PRE-tty." or "Oh! I LOVE your hair, it's SO soft,!" Sometimes he'll ask me if he's the most handsome, I always tell him yes of course and he gets this little devil grin going and asks me in a whisper "More handsome thaaaannnn...... Daddy!?" ANd then he laughs hysterically lol it just cracks me up. Sometimes when I rush him to put his shoes on etc to get out the door he throws his hands up and says "hooold on, hold on to your horses there!" Lol He's 4. And a hoot.

My 2 and a half yo daughter comes up with the cutest things all day long! Her newest favorite thing to say is, "Are you kiddin me?" Its adorable!
We just got back from vacation and the condos we stayed in had a big pool and a kiddie pool. She heard us refering to the smaller pool as the "kiddie" pool, but apparently thought we were saying "kitty" pool. She told me "Momma, I want to go in the cat pool." I was confused, so i asked her what cat pool. She said, "The kitty cat pool, right there!" It always amazes me how the minds of children work!

When my son and I go driving and someone is driving fast or reckless I always get angry and say something to myself about it. My son hears me and says "why are you mad?" so I tell him because sometimes people don't know how to drive, so one day while coming home from my sons grandmothers house a car cut me off and so I got mad and said something. So my son chimed in and said, "why are you mad mommy, is it because you don't know how to drive?" I just about died laughing he really knew how to cheer me up!

My eighteen month old daughter likes to help me unload the dishwasher. When she does I grab all the knives really fast and put them away, then she "helps" by handing me the other silverware. She gives each piece to me one at a time and after each one she says, "Thank you" because that's what I say to her. Yesterday, I was unloading the dishwasher again and she came running into the kitchen, looked up at me with a big smile and asked, "Thank you?" Apparently, she actually thinks the silverware is called thank you. LOL.
Also, a few years ago when my middle child was her age, he came to me after a nap and said, "Toe Dip?" I was confused so I looked at him and said, "what?" My oldest said to me, "He wants to know if it's time to get up." LOL.

My little guy is eight years old and he loves Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Hawk, and other sports guys. We were driving down the road the other day and I asked him. If you could be anyone in the world other than yourself, who would you be?
He thought about it for a minute and he said "You Dad".
That got me.

My daughter always says "mommy can you get me some wallow"? hehe she means water......they keep me going lol.....thing that puts the icing on the cake is: one day I was cleaning my room and my 2 year old daughter was handing me things to put away she goes "momma, car, momma doll, momma (handing me my religious book) momma God"....I was so surprised that she knew that the book was the word of God. It made me happy and melted my heart! :-)
