I showed some interest in the military last Summer and, since then, I have been constantly nagged by phone and even visited at my house. How can I get them to stop contacting me without lying and saying that I'm gay?

Just say NO.

"Please remove me from your contact list, as I have changed my mind about the Military. "

I had the same problem. Only our four kids were all in the military already. I told them one more call and I would consider it harassment. I kept a log of days and names that called. Never heard from them again.

Our oldest daughter had been out of the house for 10 years and an Army recruiter called and was following up on a request from 10 years prior!

Tell them that you want be a Christian chaplin and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Seriously, because at this time USA military chaplains are censored from declaring and praying in the name of Jesus, on the field, or a military funeral. This is true.
Check our nations ACLJ and that is my source.
Any other religion can pray in the name of their God. But not the Christian religion. ACLU took that right.

If you are not interested in the military, tell the recruiters that.
They will keep at you until you do so.

Just tell them that you aren't interested, and ask them politely to go away, and stop trying to contact you.

Tell them you've got moderate to severe asthma and use an inhaler several times each day. Ask if you can join. You'll never hear from them again.

Tell them to quit bothering you. Once you inform them you are no longer interested in joining, they will scratch you off the list.

You need to file a complaint with your police station and also to the recruitment center. And you also need to log the time, name of the person as a recurring event.
