No, that's Jump School which is three weeks long. The first two weeks are nothing but running and training and the last is all jumps. It's how you go Airborne.
No swimming in Basic either. A hell of a lot of running and push ups though.

I can only speak from personal experience from Army Basic back in 1992. First of all, jumping out of airplanes is taught at Fort Benning as an advanced course. Paratroopers are elite VOLUNTEER soldiers. No one will force you to jump out of a plane in Basic Training. Secondly, when I was in the Army, there was no swimming requirement. If you are planning on joining the Army, work on your two-mile run, sit-ups, and push-ups.

Does he get to pass homestead after common and until now Airborne college? relies upon on the place he is going to common and what his MOS is....the two way shrink the umbilical twine already. If he is going to everywhere different than fortress Benning he will possibly get a guess to pass homestead after AIT and until now he starts off Airborne college. As for what he will study? he will study the thank you to place a parachute on, rig is equipment (yet no longer likely, he will study that at his unit) what the techniques are interior the airplane (which he will discover ways to forget 40% of what he discovered considering's no longer how they're accomplished in an lively airborne unit), and the thank you to remarkable go out, steer his parachute and land (all of which he will ought to unlearn as quickly as he gets to a unit and relearn the thank you to do it precise). ....or he will study how common that's to provide up.

What branch? The Army doesn't. But you do have to run laps so you are prepared to run 2 miles in the allotted time.
You can go to Airborne training after basic

No one I know of jumps out of airplanes in basic. I do not know myself how much swimming a Navy or USMC fellow does but I am sure we will find out. But you can forget about the airborne stuff till way later.

You don't do that in basic, but depending on your career field you might. Like airborne. You will run and run and run.
