I have told many people now that I have a special attachment to vodka, but not just any vodka. There's a brand called Ciroc that is heavenly, we're actually having an affair, and Alibaba said it right when she said vodka's great for it's simple mixability with several different components. But I'm one of those girls that doesn't like to have the Grey Goose rubbing alcohol aftertaste: You should be able to drink large amounts in any mixer you want and not be able to taste it. THAT'S the key!

That's hard - I only drink top shelf stuff, but I don't have a favorite hard liquor.
Tequila - Jose Cuervo Traditional Reposado
Gin - Bombay Blue Saphire
Vodka - Grey Goose - I drink vodka the most.
Scotch - Best single malt available - favorite is Longrow, but that is very difficult to find.
Rum - Captain Morgans & Meyers Dark

Tequila, specifically Herradura Seleccion Supreme if I can find it. If not, Herradura anejo is good as is Tezon anejo.
