besides Judas and why they did?

Well Judas is a bit confusing. there are actually two separate stories of how he dies. (In spite of what the official dogma is)

I think Jesus would qualify as a suicide and there are several arguments that it was suicide. If you could save yourself and do not that is suicide by definition

Other than that, only a couple of martyrs come to mind.
---------------------------------
This is from a Christian apologetics site trying to council against suicide:

Suicide is not a new idea. The Bible records seven suicides.

Abimelech
Judges 9:52-54 Abimelech lacked personal identity.
Samson
Judges 16:25-30 Samson died for a cause he believed in and for revenge.
Saul
1 Samuel 31:4 Saul was stressed out, unable to live up to certain expectations; felt rejected and a failure
Saul's armor-bearer
1 Samuel 31:5 Impulse, he wanted to die with his boss. 40% of teenage suicide is impulse.
Ahithophel
2 Samuel 17:23 Ahithophel was bitter because his advice was not followed.
Zimri
1 Kings 16:15-20 Rebellion; Zimri had a problem with authority.
Judas
Matthew 27:3-5 Depressed, Judas felt trapped by materialism and guilt.

if I was that guy, I would probably run to the end of the next world! You sound and are being a desperate. So, quit doing that. You would chase him away. It's ok to be a desperate but please don't be one in front of him. Can you try to be a friend for him. Ask him out and please do not discuss about the suicide episode, if he happens to mention it (i am not sure, he would if the time he spends with you is easy, comfortable and with no cupid hanging around), can you just don't react on it strongly. The question you need to ask yourself, does he love you??! Make him comfortable, just a day/evening out for old times' sake and let him fall in love with you :) Give it some time and if things are not going the way you want, remain friends and do not except too much. I have been there and didn't follow my own advice. I left the country to get over him. I was so pathetic ;) Anyways, coming back to you, don't pursue him, just make some more new friends, learn a language, develop a hobby. Have your own life in place. And let him join with you. Bond with a common hobby. Show him there's more to you than that silly girl who tried to commit suicide over him. Good luck and God bless!

"Some people believe that all who commit suicide go immediately to Hell. However, the Bible never says if this is the case. The Bible is silent on this issue. God probably did not address it in black in white for a good reason. If we knew that we would still go to Heaven if we killed ourselves, there would probably be a lot more suicides taking place than there already are. However, if we knew that all who killed themselves were automatically banished to Hell, no matter what their situation, it may be too much for the grief-stricken family and friends to bear. Murder and suicide are not unpardonable sins." See source url

P.S. Jesus did not commit suicide. Allowing yourself to be killed and killing yourself are two different things. Also, what about self-sacrifice? If you take a bullet for another are you committing suicide? Duh!

P.P.S. I don't believe in heaven or hell or that the bible is anything more than a book created by man to control man.

Silver and others - Judas committed suicide in one of the gospel stories. In another contradictory one, he fell and burst open.

Matthew 27:5
And he [Judas] cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

Acts 1:18
Now this man [Judas] purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

Not only was the manner of his death contradictory, but what was done with the money he was given as well.

Right off the bat I'd have to say JESUS. And thank god, because now we get a three day weekend and chocolate Easter Bunnies.
I would get more chuckles out of knowing how many Christians from these days have committed suicide. That's a social service in and of itself.
