I threw up about 2 hours ago. There was a worm in it that was about 4 inches long, transpaetn white color, and looked like a spaghetti noddle. I thought only cats and dogs got these. Should i just call my doctor, or go to the ER?

This is NOT an emergency. NO Dr. is going to ok your trip there. It will be expensive and you will have to wait and wait as this is the furthest thing from an emergency!
If you have tape or round worms, all you need is a bit of meds which will kill them, and then they should pass naturally. Just save the worm so you can show them what you yarfed up, call your doctor and go get some meds today. Good grief!
Humans can get many, many types of parasites, here is a list of them in alphabetical order:

you probably have round or tape. Here is a list of the most common round and treatment:

I would call your Drs. office to make an appointment. If they feel you need to go to the ER, they will tell you that. Unfortunately we do get worms, too. This may sound gross, but did you keep it? If you did, maybe it can be analyzed to determine exactly what treatment you need, if any.

Did you save the worm? As gross as that is, that would probably be a good idea. Go to the ER.
