Absolutley not, they need them for so many things, and they are so sensitive. Please do not cut your cat's whiskers. Why would you want to?

NO! Please don't do that. They help cats "see" in the dark. Since they stick out, they allow the cat to sense what's around them.
The whiskers also have many other purposes that are essential to helping a cat be a cat. If they loose a whisker here or there naturally, theyll grow back, but by all means - don't cut them.

NO!!! They will lose their sense of balance and get stuck in places because they think they can get through but then can't. they use them as sensors.
