That's good to hear some of you are active in your communities and families.

I normally don't approve of governmental interference in re churches and even cults, but France's laws are different from those in the US, Canada and some other places. They can and do involve the government in religious matters, since France has prided itself on secularism since the French Revolution. Also, I know that the Church of Scientology is a problematic toxic organization. They do rip people off, they are extremely sales oriented *and* evangelical. Put the two together and the control mechanisms to get money become over the top. Church of Scientology leadership is harsh and violent. I would encourage readers to read Marc Headley's writings on the subject. So I do -cautiously and with some reservations- support such actions.

Considering that I am answering this during a break in the Annual General Meeting of the religious group I am a member of and am part of one of the two portions of it's governing body, lead my local congregation and network with congregations holding similar beliefs in my area I would tend to say that I am "active" in my faith.

I do not actively go to church..but I actively believe in God..
I actively contribute to my community by going to work every day.. taking care of my child so he wont grow up and and be a hoodlum.. or fall for a bogus religion invented by some guy 30 or 40 years ago whose intention was to break him mentally and take all of his money. I am not active in asking questions online in order to find some poor soul who needs direction.. so I can rob them blind. But.. It's wonderful to see that you are an active member or whatever and believe in something.. that's great!

What I like about your questions is that it allows me to filter out and block the nutcases who can't answer a simple question. About 2 percent of them. Hmmm.

You have some great answers there, however.

I'm not as active as I'd like to be at this time....

Yes I am. I attend many events and have just taken on a new web-based outreach program...

...but I have no specific church. Just a mission to allow others to enlighten themselves.

The "Cult of Scientology" is one of the most easily exposed false "religions" to ever curse mankind. This is no better than paganism or atheism. Yes, I am active in my community, sort of in a "silent partner" arrangement.
