People say that there is no evidence that Jesus even lived on earth. What the hell kind of lame statement is that? The fact that Jesus rose from the dead is the only reason there is Christianity, Catholics, Protestants, Lutherans, non denominational, evangelicals, Baptist, assembly of God, etc etc...The Bible testifies to that fact. And the Bible is what? The best seller of all time, the most circulated book in the history of man. What supports your beliefs?
If tha Bible is so full of non sense and written by man, then God can even use the worst writing ever, and with the most contradictions, most un reliable book and still out sell every other ever. God does have a sense of humor. I love God and baby Jesus.
Remember Jesus rose from the dead on his own, and never died again! He did not die ever again. Out of all the supposed people of other religions, who never died again and plus had the impact on the world as Jesus did? No not one.
What proof is there? Come on people.

Yes, there is proof that Jesus lived. Many skeptics don't like it, but the Bible is historical proof. It's one of the best historical documents out there. Because many of the writings pertaining to Jesus also mention other notable and documented time frames, it's credibility is good.
Additionally, there is really no reason not to accept the historical documents we have as true. We accept other historical documents and people and in some cases have less information about them.
The problem is that those who do not believe in God and/or Jesus, discount the Bible as well. Most educated historians acknowledge the Bible's authenticity even if they are not believers in the divinity of Jesus. They do acknowledge that Jesus was a living person.

Dear Mr. kia (know it all),
Yes, Jesus Christ of the Bible did walk on this earth, did incredible miracles, was brutally crucified on a cross, and then rose again from the dead on Sunday morning. Over 500 people saw Him after he had risen from the dead and then physically went up into heaven (without any spacecraft).
I agree with the points you have made in your question. May I also say that when "unbelievers" and non-religious people curse, why do they use Jesus' name if He never existed?
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Give the Harry Potter series 2,000 years of circulation and it might actually overtake the Bible.
Anyway, I think there is plenty of reason to believe that the J man was an actual person. That however doesn't prove the things that were written about him.
Lots of religious figures, Mohamed, Buddha, Krishna, had many things written about them, but most Christian don't believe they are true. Same with Jesus. Even though he has lots of things written about him in no way proves that those things are real.

youre question was way too long and im not sure exactly what youre gettin' at. but im a Christian and i believe in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit with all my heart not just causa all the historical proof (i mean seriously there are over 25,000 manuscripts of the bible that havent ever been changed once, and there are stones with the names of the ancient men carved on them) but also cause of all of the demons my friends have seen and rebuked in the name of Jesus. I dont just believe Him, I feel him. I talk to Him. its not like i just go around believing old superstions, you can really feel His presence cause he is there. and theres no way out of it, if you dont believe in Him and serve him, you go to hell, there isnt a middle path for unsure people. He's realer than any of you people and he's the one who can see us when we cant see him. I mean seriously you people who say there is no Jesus, how much research have you actually done?!?

Jesus' Crucifixion is recorded on Roman documents. Also His teachings were recorded was well. Both the Jews and Romans of Jesus' time were serious record keepers. That's why back in the day learning Latin was a requirement in high school. Because the fore fathers wanted people to be able to go to the ancient texts and look up this information themselves. Too bad it's no longer a requirement; wonder why? I mean wouldn't it be nice to find this information out yourself instead of depending on others to tell you want they want you to hear.

I do not believe in the Bible is factual but apocryphal . However, I do believe an enlightened man named Jesus walked the Earth and spread a message of compassion and helping your fellow man. And if that hasn't blown your mind enough...
I'm Buddhist.

It's amazing that for someone who "didn't" exist as some buffoons actually assert of Christ, there is absolutely NO proof that Socrates ever existed except in the mind of Plato, and the entire world of western philosophical thought is based on a man for whom there is no historical evidence whatsoever actually existed. When my philosophy professor told us this, we were so let down.

He lives, it took a perfect blood sacrifice to pay the price for our sins and God became flesh in the form of Jesus and came to the Earth to pay the price for our sins. Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to go to heaven. Jesus lived 33 years and never sinned. After death and Resurrection, he sits at the right hand of God in heaven.
