good day from one of your athiest friends, let me first congratulate you and Tragic on your excellent choice of each other honesty and fun mix well.
let me secondly shield you from the christians we frontline atheists do well to remember you pagan artillery lobbing the effective volleys from behind our battered shields.
let me sadden yo also with news of my promtion to spy, i will be removing the word atheist form my profile as soon as the paperwork comes in and will be going on covert raids in my truer form as a daoist. Good will win as i lead christian against christian! as they stupidly taught me in their book: 'a house divided against itselt cannot stand'
let me now answer your question sorry it's taken a while but you've been a busy girl-
A:
Those you speak of ,although few ( yet annoying ) know little of spirituality outside of religion they think this is only a religion section and consequently think all those without religion should go, can you convince them paganism is a relgion like theirs - unlikely
will you stop posting - unlikley
(given the benefits of being a member of a "community" )
I can tell the difference between a catholic and a protestant, the religious would do well to learn the qualities of an apathetic or metaphysical atheist for example.( I'm both does that make me a transatheist?) Cowboy Christian would do well to speak to some atheists who belive in God, to even know they exist if he ever reads my answer is a good start! "here be donkeys"
know us atheists better you relgious types, and only the catholics, jews and muslims will still want to hate us!
all good.( Good with cakes today: as i'm in a strangely good mood after having my face rubbed in the dirt on another question)
Buff.

Paganism is a religion and though I believe it to be a false religion, I believe they have ground in R&S, Atheism is not a Religion nor a Spiritual path thus I find their presence here like that of a Donkey at the Kentucky Derby, nothing wrong with a donkey you understand bt they do not belong at the Kentucky Derby. Allow me ot quote something to show the rationale behind my assertion about Atheism. often comes form a person who has actually done little research or thinking about either Atheism or religion. Most people rarely study or investigate their own religious beliefs, assuming they have any. If they are born in a predominately Christian, or Muslim, or Hindu, or Jewish culture, they will probably reflect the religious beliefs of that society.
Nearly every dictionary will define religion as "belief in a divine or superhuman power or powers to be obeyed a worshipped as the creator(s) and ruler(s) of the universe. The definition of all other terms linked to religion employ much the same language -- church, monastery, priest. They are all part of a religious-language universe or "game" that has little to do with Atheism.
There cannot be an Atheist "Church", or an Atheist "priest" anymore than there could be an Atheist "god." [top] The reference I have l have lised unde souces.

I guess I've never really thought about it or even cared if it's okay. We pagans and spiritually minded people are generally more easy going, tolerant, and firm in our beliefs.
I have to smile when I am accused of "being of the devil." Satan is a Christian concept, thus, it simply doesn't apply.
The only thing that is of any concern to me is that I will be kicked off YA due to Christians reporting violations on my posts. It's not a matter of not following the TOS, but they simply don't like my answers. The abusing of the abuse function is getting rather old.

(Slightly altered version)
They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Atheists
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't an Atheist
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Pagans
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Pagan
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time no one was left to speak up.
If you don't like what is going on in R&S with the victimization of Atheists, Pagans, and other Non-Christians, Speak up
Nothing stops folks from speaking out against hatred except themselves.

Of the devil huh? I highly doubt it.
Some christians would say I am of the devil - and I am a christian.
Pagan's have religion and spirituality so why not?
Atheist, in a sense, have sort of a scientific spirituality about them, so, why not?

I have no problem with pagans or with atheists posting
questions. I have a problem with asking questions that
are only for the purpose of taunting. That is rude.

If the atheists leave, who will be targeted next?
Exactly. So we Pagans have a vested interest in keeping them right where they are.

First of all, no PERSON has *ever* been "okay with" anything. That's idiotic psychobabble. The question, therefore, is whether or not "it's okay with such *people* if pagans post in here?"
To answer THAT (now-properly-worded) question, this board is for the discussion of everything having to do with religious and/or spiritual matters. Therefore, **everyone** is totally welcome in here, as long as their questions and answers stay on-topic with regard to those broad parameters. And that includes atheists and pagans.
Show me a person who DOESN'T think that atheists and pagans have a perfect right to post here, and I'll show you a person who has just PROVEN himself to be one *very* ignorant bigot.
-- "Roadrat" -- Sensible and tolerant Christian... never to be confused with the 6% of *professing* Christians (but in reality, merely *pseudo*-Christians) of the RRR Cult.
To "Samuelcrow777" -- Thanks for providing us with such a good *example* of the way that hateful RRR Cultists think.

part of pretending yours is the only "correct" way is redefining others to fit your orthodoxy. that means demonizing, marginalizing, and misrepresenting - if you can get away with it. Not all Christians are like that, I must point out, but clearly decent people of all paths must keep the zealots in check.
