Good question. I've traveled the world over and have eaten things that you wouldn't even consider. Insects, bats. donkey, cat, and the list goes on. I would always try anything that others ate.

BUT, I have a problem. I can't stand beets or liver! Every time I go to a buffet I always get a piece of each and I do eat it. Still, I don't like it. I have been served the finest foie gras with truffles. I ate the truffles.

Beef Wellington without the pate is great! BUT the chefs think you are crazy and won't do it.

So, I'll keep trying beets and liver at the buffet and maybe some day my taste buds will change. They haven't in 60 years, but I figure I've got about 10 more to go before I lose all taste or kick the bucket.

I take a vitamin with iron daily, I refuse to eat things that tastes awful. Life is too short, eat veggies you like and fruits you enjoy.and lean meats, liver is no longer on the healthy list so I don't know what kinds of foods are awful. Maybe brussel sprouts, just substitute them for broccoli or spinach or a salad. you should not have to eat anything tasting terrible when there are so many foods out there.

You could disguise it with something else. Cover it with Ketchup! Then it would slide down quickly!

or - hold your nose and swallow fast.

or - load it up with spices and herbs.

or-just forget it and find something that tastes better.

I just don't eat anything that tastes bad even if it is healthy.I feel that if I end up getting sick over it,I've gained nothing anyway.

put it into a recipe that has alot of ingredients that would disguise the flavor you don't like. for instance put spinache leaves in a salad. instead of cooked spinache. same with all veggies. eat them raw in a salad.

if you don't like it, don't eat it. find something else that you do like that provides the same or similar nutrients. don't torture yourself just because you think you have to eat something.
