My eight year old daughter gets to play an hour a day on the computer when she is through with her homework and chores. If homework and chores are not done then she gets no computer time for the day.

They should be doing any school work, chores, eating, etc. before hand and should get a good 30 minutes of physical activity per day after that I wouldn't worry about it. What would they do otherwise? Watch tv? Better to keep the brain active at least and the Wii is great exersize.

I have a 6 year old and allow about an hour a day. I make sure that most of the sites she goes to are educational. There are a few that are just for fun.

Put any sites they can visit in a separate folder. Check the links in the sites to be sure they're safe. Then limit their activities to the folder.

Computers are excellent teaching tools, if they're used properly.

2 hours each, and only after they do everything they are supposed to. If you say they can play as much as they want after they do everything, they will probably half *** it
