No, he is not a human and that is not an option to him. He blew it big time while in heaven and continues to do so hourly.

I like this question because it points out the futile nature of being philosophical about the in and outs of religion.
The way I see it, the devil should be forgiven should he require it - and because of the almighty power and love of god it should happen very soon. The devil is after all, just a fallen angel so there should be some good in there somewhere... you'd think right?
But then if he was forgiven what would be the deal with hell and all its burning occupants? They, having not asked for forgiveness, should stay there but would it still exist without the devil?
Good question not because it poses a curious thought for consideration but because of the stupidity of the situation that it arises from.
I love it! :o)

The Bible says that whoever calls on the call of the Lord would be saved, so i assume which ability devil too, yet i do no longer truly comprehend, because of the fact devil grew to become into an Angel, no longer a human and the main important reason being that i'm no longer God.

There is only one sin that is unforgiveable, and Satan already did that - he knew the truth, he turned away from it AND he drew innocent victims with him (as he continues to do). Satan is also known as the father of the lie, so any surrender he offered to God would be meaningless. Nope, he's going down to the bottom of an aybss, to be let loose for a while so he can do some more of his dirty work, and then he'll be destroyed.

You have to figure out where Satan is first. I believe he is in heaven at the Throne of God. He lost his job yes but God still talks to him.
While he thinks he is fooling God and whispering in His ear lies and deceits about you and me. Jesus is at the other ear saying this ones mine this one isn't.
They all know Satan is not going to surrender except Satan himself.
Eventually in a thousand years or so God will put a final end to Satan and a lot of people that let him deceive them.
Hope not to see you there but then I don't plan to attend.

Great question. I have often wondered that. If the Devil repented and asked for forgiveness, would evil then just end as we know it?
Here is another bombshell question to ponder -
Could we as religious followers pray to God that the Devil repent his sins so that evil is destroyed? Is praying for the conversion of the heart of Lucifer/Satan worth following?

First of all, I doubt there would be an 'if', considering the devil would never give in to god, no matter what. He wants power--he wants god's seat, so, it's highly unlikely he'd be convinced to give up so easily. But, 'if' it happend, I think god would have pity on him--If the god I know is a merciful one, I think he is waiting for the devil to return to him. He would welcome him back and destroy the evil inside him.

After rebelling against God to His face, the Old Scratch can never be trusted again. And naturally since God exists outside of time as we know it, He already knows that it'll never happen, because it already has from His perspective.

The fate of the devil has already been fortold in The Revelation of Jesus Christ. He will be sealed in his own pit for 1,000 years. After that he must be released for a little while to try the world again. God will then destroy him eternally with fire from the sky.

Christ died for the sins of humans. Satan was an angel. But, in any event, what good does it do to say you're sorry after you have been sentenced? After a fighter has been knocked out, can he say, " I decided I don't wanna fight you after all" ?

Satan in Sumerian mythology is the creator of the Aryan race, he has opposed the Yahweh Semetic god since day 1. In Christianity satan is less powerful than yahweh however, so i'm not sure.
