i've been in love with a girl i met at the age of 11, loved her ever since, but when we tried to go out i ruined everything, i just couldn't loose fear of being rejected, and now 5 years later i'm trying to make everything the least painful, but she's going out with someone, what should i do to win her back?

Its called eating crow. Sorry buddy but desperation, love, and giving all you can, doesn't mean you get the girl. Shoot trying might just make a bad situation worse. Understand that romantic notions are not love. Yea we want to believe all it takes is love, but then again you had love and the relationship still failed right? As they say good intention pave the road to hell, but I'm not here to crush your hope, there still is hope. But it requires you doing something with that love then just feeling it, act on it!!!! Understand to that a relationship needs more then just the purpose of love, you have to use that love for something, the tradition thing is a family but your going to have to do better then that....
