You drop a new ball at the point on shore where the original ball went over the water and play from there. You also then add 1 stroke to your score.

You have to take a drop. The place to drop depends on what type of hazard you hit into. The type of hazard is indicated by the color of the stakes that mark the hazard.
If the stakes are yellow, it is a "water hazard". You find the point where the ball last crossed the boundary of the hazard, and go back on the straight line made by that point and the hole.
You can go back as far as you want. So, if there is high rough or weeds near the water, but fairway 20 yards back, you can go back to the fairway. The only thing is that where you drop, where the ball crossed the hazard, and the hole all need to make a straight line.
If the stakes are red, you are in a "lateral water hazard". You can do the same as above (if possible). You can also drop two clubs lengths from where the ball crossed the hazard. You can also go to the other side of the hazard and drop there (at the same distance from the hole).
In both cases, you also have the option to go back to where you hit your last shot.
In all cases, there is a one-stroke penalty.

get on a diving suit and continue, well i dont know much about golf but i saw this in a golf game they put the ball back to the lake shore.
