I'm still brainstorming ideas about a comic I'm thinking of making, but the main cat character gets sick with a cold. The problem is, I don't really know if cats can get the type of cold with the stuffed nose and sneezing as main symptoms. I know they can get a stomach bug with a minor fever (Sandy had that a bit after I got her) I'm trying to get some realisim with what cats can and can't do in my comics so I was just wondering.

(I just make comics for fun, not profesonaly)

They can get colds that are only passed from cat to cat not from cat to human. They sneeze A LOT, have a runny nose and watery eyes. Also if it is only a comic it is meant to be funny and not to be taken seriously so you can make the cat do anything. Like Garfield. Cats favourite foods are not lasagne and cats normally don't hate mondays but that is what makes it funnier!

this could be an bigger respiratory an infection, it somewhat is analogous to a uncomplicated chilly in human beings, yet could nicely be risky in a youthful kitten. The vet is definately the applicable component you're able to do. despite if it is a URI, placed the kitten in a room with assorted foodstuff and water, and placed a vaporizer purely extreme adequate that kitty won't be able to attain it. this could help decongest his nasal passages and airway, making it much less complicated to respire. shop your different kitten away, considering that URI's are contagious. it may pass away after approximately 2 weeks. yet regardless of what all and sundry on line says, definately pass to the vet. And to respond to your question, confident, cat colds and infections could nicely be disregarded to different cats.

Yes they can. I have 3 cats and if one of them get's a cold, they all get a cold.... A can can't blow it's nose, so it shakes it's head really hard and sprays snot all over the place... that should be good for a comedy routine if NOTHING is..

oh yes, they defiantly get colds, they are much more serious than if a human gets a cold. upper respiratory is very contagious among cats. and can be deadly to kittens if untreated

yes, when we first got our second cat, he had a cold, and sneezed EVERYWHERE for about a month. It was pretty disgusting.
