I think it is just fine...
Perhaps I would hire some people to add a little more balance to the moderation...
Go through and just delete all the trolls.
Scan peoples Q&A and if they have obviously just set out on a mission to insult everyone, then just get rid of them.
I don't think there is any use in an asker that simply uses the forum to attack one group of people all day or to answer the same three words over and over again
Examples are the people who go in and preach against gays all day, or those who just insult Christians instead of answering their questions.
Another example are those who answer "Read the Bible" to every question.
I am new on this site as a user but I have been looking at answers on here for awhile now, and I think the biggest problem is the users who are bigoted... not the yahoo discussion itself.

We need to have a 'drink' button added next to the 'star' button.
I'd like to see trolls and clones eliminated.
I'd like Yahoo to do more to investigate reports rather than immediately removing content - it isn't fair.
That's all I would change. The bickering actually makes for good entertainment so I won't say that I wish we could all get along.

Christians need to have their own special forum, since there is too much resentment and hostility related to the past for many of the Pagan/Heathen community. In addition, they seem intent on butting in to the discussion/questions of others to prove that they are more correct, moral, and enlightened than anyone else on the planet. There is a lot they need to work out yet for themselves. With all of these distractions in may take another couple of thousand years for them to get it all together.

Not just R&S, but the whole thing: change the report abuse logic. Something that allow the community itself to rate people would be better.
A positive rating would last a year, a negative rating would last a week. people could set a threshold for what rating other people would have to have to be seen by them.
The idea is that bad folk would still be able to post all they wanted to, but no one would be able to see them.
Terminating accounts doesn't help... they just get new ones.

I believe all the people who are taking these matters as a joke should be banned from the R and S section.

The report button has to go. I've been reported for the dumbest things. I said to someone, why would you or do you care what others think of you. Can you believe someone reported me for that?

Ban Christians AND Atheists from the boards.
Think about it. Christianity is a relationship, NOT A RELIGION.
And Atheism, at least as displayed here, denies the existence of spirituality. So why are EITHER ONE here???

There is a big difference between gentle ribbing and joking and viciousness, the vicious and obscene would be banned...
