alright, so i've asked questions before and the most answers i've ever gotten was like, four. why? i mean, i've seen other people ask the same questions as me and they get like 10 or more answers!

You'd only asked 3 questions before this one, so you have awfully high expectations and are very sensitive. I'm not sure why you take it as a personal affront that you haven't gotten lots of answers to your limited amount of questions, but you do seem quite upset.

Your questions might have been on at a time when there were fewer people online, and it's just a roll of the dice as to whether you get lots of replies or few answers. Other questions you ask may get lots of answers. It's not a contest to see who can get the most answers. It's just a place to try to find answers. One answer alone can be the right one.

Some questions are so good I desire to see them. But often just too late. So will read the answers and determine others have presented good answers that leave no room to add anything. So leave a note basically saying, "Good thought" by leaving the star. [this is rare and ususally with simple answers like, "you will find in Ge.1:7..... what you seek"] More often, if I have had a couple of glasses of wine, I find it unwise to try and compose an answer, I have enough problems as it is. Sometimes I do not want to present an answer because I find the question a little too radical. And the answers presented are off the cliff. Especially, some of the "race", "sexual" and real "mean TROLL" things. But the question it self is actually very good. Just something I would not ever be able to present or answer. And finally I noticed the same thing. But I thought...., "that was sure kind of them." Michelle does not get many stars. In fact, do not ask many questions anymore. I went back and read your questions. They are so similar to hundreds of other questions that people probably are tired of saying the same thing. We have a tendancy to think that our questions are unique but they really are not. How many "should I talk to him" or "does he like me or not" questions come across this forum? Dozens. The answers are all the same. Before you ask, see if anyone else is having the same problem and what good answers they got. That would help you a lot.

Sometimes it has to do with how fast the questions cycle off of the first page. This section moves very fast. If you don't get any answers within the first ten minutes, or you see that your question is now off the first page, it wouldn't hurt to ask again. In fact, I'll go look up some of your questions and see if I can say anything worthwhile.

Oh, well, never mind. I went back to look at your questions and you already resolved them, so no more answers can be given. At least you got a lot of answers to this one!

put me on your contact list and i will answer each and every question you pose the best way i can.
how is that for an valid answer? =)
4 answers are better than 10+. it is the quality of how the person answers it. if a person helps you out, that is only
*1* answer, right? so, to speak if you got only 1 answer for every question you asked, then you would get an answer. you may not always like the advice,,,, and also if you feel like you dont get enough answers, extend the question deadline so more people will be able to view it and comment. hope this helped.
ur new answer answerer pal =)

You may have hit the reason on the head when you said " i've seen other people ask the same questions as me." People can only answer the same question so many times.

Sometimes it has to do with the timing.. people tend to not answer questions with a lot of answers, but sometimes a lot of people will click the 'answer' button while others are writing their responses, so the result is like 10 answers in less than a minute.

I tend to answer the first page or two---questions on YA &Q are closed to answers after a while. Also, I dont answer questions too sexual or kinky--people using a lot of dirty language. Put your question out there again and see what happens.

oh i have a feeling that you will have over 30 answer with this question......i guess it depends on the subject....maybe people dont answer because they cant relate our understand the question...i get mad because i only get 13 -20 range for me when others get 30-40...so i do share your pain..but just know that the single and dating department people dont really answer that much thats why i always ask mine in the marriage and divorce section....because i am divorce but im also dating so ....basicially to answer your question...it depends on which section your asking the question in...
