OH.. I am SO glad I read this question!!!! I have 3 cats and the BEST.. I mean VERY BEST thing is gloves. Latex, whatever. I discovered it by accident, I had gloves in my pocket from work.. (hospital) and I put them on to clean and brushed the hair off my shirt and it ALL came off. I bought a box and now use them for the couch, rugs, dog hair in the car. They work beautifully!!! Sticky rollers are pointless!

Welcome to being a cat owner.

Keep all velvet dresses inplastic in the closet. Dark clothes too. Where he lays put down a folded towel to keep him to one area when sleeping. See if you can find one of those miracle brushes which act like cloth covered velcro to pick up fur, that's the best investment.

Brush the cat every other day, and brush down the bed quilt and furniture seats too--even a wet washcloth works on furniture but they do have those rubber hand mits with little nubbins on that do a good job.

A damp wash cloth works the best for me, just rinse it off alot and brush your cat at least twice a day that will also make a big difference in the cat hair. I vaccuum threee times a week and the furniture gets the damp not wet washcloth treatment every day. Helps if your allergic as well.

i found the best thing that works for me is the SHED ENDER i found it at walmart for about 10 bucks. It beets a regular ole brush any day. A couple times a week works wonders

Put your clothes or whatever you have cat hair on in the dryer for a few minutes (you don't have to wash it first). I found this works much better then lint rollers.

Thanks for asking

what are you feeding your cat? feed it quality food, and there will be less shedding

how often do you brush your cat? brush her a couple of times a week.

as for on your clothes, use a Bounce dryer sheet in your dryer when you dry your clothes.
