Well even if atheists are not religious they certainly can be spiritual can't they?
Besides. There are some very pleasant atheists around and they fully appreciate that there are some very nice religious people around too.. so why not hang out with nice people?
Surely not all religious people are so bigoted that they cannot appreciate the good company of a nice atheist. There are other things people have in common besides a belief (or not) in God.

lol, to get a better understanding of the people in the world, and their thoughts. an atheists i maybe called, but i feel and believe in something, its name may not be God, or in fact it could be, but i do believe. for me,our wits makes us human and to deny logic and reason, no matter how improbable it may be, i have to admit it could be possible; so i learn.
