when she does this does she get to get out of time out? children do the darndest things to get their way or a little bit of attention. i wouldnt say its abnormal. i would just pay closer attention to her in time out. my guess is she's doing it on purpose. may want to put her on the pot while in time out or just before(??)

it's totally normal... she is just mad that you have put her in a time out and that's how she's telling you how mad she is. Probably the best thing to do is ignore it while she's in the time out... don't allow her to do that and then take her out of her time out (that's what she wants). It's not going to hurt her to sit in pee-pee pants for a few mins.... maybe have her sit a few mintues longer as a result. Then, when she's done with her time out, clean her up and get her some new clothes, but I think less is more. She wants you to react, so if you don't, then maybe she'll stop. Encourage her to use her words to tell you how she feels rather than peeing her pants. She's old enough that you should be able to talk to her about it

well how long is she in timeout. it should be 3 minutes on minute per year of life, ask her before time out if she has to go if so sit her bare bottomed on the potty chair while doing the time out. i did this with my son while potty training also. it worked too,
when i was a child my parents always once i was over 2 and potty training sat me on a potty chair in the corner during a time out

It is nomal she is in timeout because she was naughty and so she is not getting your attention any more. If she wets herself then she is probably getting attention for it. wait until her time out is over then make her go and change her own clothes.

She is just trying to draw attention to herself because she doesn't want to be in time out.

Well it depends on how long she as been doing this.If it just now started then she is probably doing it on purpose.
