I have a boy cat , and so my question is if I got another kitty for him to play with during the day would he spray everywhere?

Yes he is neutered already, but cats still spray their yucky territorial juice.

If he is neutered and not spraying, he should not start spraying.

He may. This all depends on how he takes to the other cat. As you should know, cats are very territorial, and, if he is a normal male cat, he'll look at this other one as invading his territory. Even though he's spayed, he can still spray. So, this one's a guessing game for you--either he will, or he won't, there's just no way to know.

If you do decide to get another kitty, the best way to make the introduction is to keep the new one crated or in a separate room for several days---allowing him/her time out for eating and litter box use. If you have a separate room, this is best because the new kitty can have it's own litter box and food/water dishes. Allow your male kitty to get the scent of the new one gradually, and he MAY be OK with it. There is just really no way to tell until you do it. If possible, can you take this new kitty that you're thinking about on a "trial basis"? If so, do so, and see what happens. Best of luck to you.

No, Maybe he might do it once to show the new kitty who's boss, but if he's neutered he shouldnt do it, my cats are neutered and i recently got a new kitten, and they sprayed once near the back door, but after that they stopped and i kept filling their kitty litter box with new litter!
good luck!

Makes no difference - he'll spray his territory kitten or no kitten. That's what boy cat's do. Get a female next time round - no problem there once she''s been neutered.

If he is neutered and he has never sprayed so far, he won't spray.
