Would you be upset? Would you want it changed? Why are you justified in that scenario but we atheist aren't allowed to want ''in God we trust" changed?

Well it wont make much sense, as Allah is Arabic, but all the other words are English.
NEWS: Allah and God are the same words in different languages! God/Allah is a 'title', not a 'name'.
Anyways, Im an Atheist. Peace. We all know the "In God We Trust" only came onto the greenback during the communist scare.

Reading the words "In God We Trust" on my money just doesn't mean the same thing it once did. Matter of fact, I don't even look at my money to see if it says that. For all I know, it could very well say in Allah we trust.
And no, I wouldn't fight to have it changed.
Printing "In God We Trust" no more implies that our country does in deed believe in God, than the guy on the street corner shouting "the end is near!" makes him a prophet.

If our country was dominated by Muslims then that would be expected. Since our country was founded by Christians and is a Christian dominated country, then "in God we trust" fits our profile. When the atheists are the majority they can make their own decisions about such things. You are not justified in asking for that change because atheists are about 3% of our population, if that much. The Bill of Rights does NOT give atheists more rights then anyone else and some things are decided by the majority.

I agree with the standards of faith in the country when the money was first designed and printed. I have no wavered from that belief. So i stand by it.
There are places in the world where the money probably says in allah we trust, because thats the belief of that majority.
I can understand the desire and right for people to fight for what they believe, its their right just as much as its mine.
The point is a struggle remains and in our country the majority will win. Whats left to be decided is who that majority is.

You can put "In Alanis Morrisette we trust"; I don't care. It all spends the same no matter who's on it. However, "In God we trust" just bothers the hell out of me when I consider that people's blood gets spilled because of money. It just sucks.
That phrase shouldn't be on government buildings, either. Now there's a laughable oxymoron if ever I did see one. "God" and human "government" are as close together together as vampires and sunlight.

Sure it would upset me. This is the USA, not an Arab country and allah is not an English word. Besides, the allah worshiped by Muslims is not the God of Christianity, Judaism or other beliefs. It's just for Muslims even though they deny this. I'm not talking about translation. I mean who the deity actually is and stands for. allah is not God. I don't care if in God we trust is on our currency. I will trust in God no matter what.

I am atheist to and they would be ten times as pissed as we are about that. Anything Christian gets by seperation of church and state, but any other religious or atheist thing gets supressed instantly. This is all because they think they are "the true Americans". Ya, suppressing other people is the real "Christian" thing to do. So if they ever try to force their values on you again just take their "good Christian values" and their "Lord and savior Jesus Christ" and shove it up their @$$. Also notice Christian is capitalized, but atheist isn't. Shows you what they think of us. Even see how stupid Tom DeLay is here (see #8 along with his other quotes):

Actually as a Christian,I could care less what is written on money,God tells us in the bible that we should be "in" the world,but not of the world,meaning that we should as Christians obey the man made laws, rule and regulations of the land,as long as it does not conflict our ability to be followers of the word.

Then, we as a nation would have to start speaking arabic. Same God just two different languages. Perhaps you would be better asking: 'Christians, what if our money said " in Darwin we trust"' because your question makes no sense.

But it already does, only in English translation.
ثقتنا بالله Is probably what it would look like in Arabic, in which case you would use "Allah" or الله
Some people don't realize that Arab Christians and Jews also worship Allah. Not in the sense that they follow Islam, but all Arabic speakers who talk about God use the term Allah.
